Challenge Island® partners with Girl Scout councils
nationwide. We offer hands-on STEAM Girl Scouts in-person and virtual
workshops. Our one-of-a-kind STEAM challenges and adventures fulfill a wide
array of Girl Scouts Journey and Badge requirements. At each workshop,
girls use the Engineering Design Process to understand a real-world issue, collaboratively
create a design build around the topic, and have the opportunity to show off
their tribe’s go-getter ingenuity to their fellow Girl Scouts. Girls are
encouraged to wear their sash/vest.
In
this workshop, Daisies will:
·
Make a Pet Palace
· Create a Pet Care Pinball Game
· Choose Kindness: Build a Rocket and Explore the Galaxy
These challenges earn Daisies' Considerate & Caring petal, the Birdbath Award and the Red Robin, plus a Challenge Island Fun Patch!
(Troop Leaders need to order badges). This workshop includes all supplies and certificate.
