Join us on an exciting, fully interactive and completely hands-on Challenge Island’s® Fort Island Camp™ where you and your squad will ride your balloon bus into an unforgettable computer-and-violence-free adventure inspired by the world’s most popular game. You’ll build walls, stairs, and STEAMtastic shelters. You’ll land in Slanted City, Treasure Lake and other Fort Island hot spots. You’ll design your own skins, practice your favorite dance moves, and make up some brand-new dances of your own. This Challenge Island camp promises to be an unforgettable non-electronic experience for every fort-loving boy and girl but that's not where the fun ends!

Camp includes:

o   5 Days; 3 Hours each day, jammed packed with hands-on, fully interactive activities to stimulate critical & creative thinking, a growth mind-set, social-emotional skills, and to get the body up & moving!

o   A STEAM lesson & design build each day and songs and/or games

o   Camp Songs! Both active (get up and move!) songs and relaxing campfire songs

o   Active (get up and move!) Camp Games

o   A Camp Surprise each day - some of those being mini-STEAM builds!

o   New Friends!

o   All taught by a Certified CI Teacher who is a current Challenge Island Owner! 

Campers will receive a Certificate of Completion, and an exclusive Challenge Island Passport.

General Information:

• Our goal is for the kids to be independent during the camp hours, with limited help from parents. If possible, help your daughter find a comfortable place to spend their time, with room to work and their bag of supplies. 

• Camps are focused on age- appropriate challenges.  Each child will build and create at their level and all work is celebrated.  There are no mistakes in Challenge Island challenges, only celebrations and opportunities. 

SUPPLIES:

• A supply list of every day household items will be emailed one week before camp.  The kids can do a fun scavenger hunt to gather the supplies needed for the challenges before the camp begins
• Materials can be picked up in Marcellus, NY for $15.  Outside Marcellus, materials can be mailed for cost of shipping.  
• Zoom Links will be sent out the day before camp starts. 

• TO REGISTER: A $30 non-refundable deposit is required to hold a spot in the camp.  Deposits are applied to the total cost of the camp.  Students must be paid-in-full one week before the start of camp and before supplies are given out.

·       Cancellation/Refund: Full refunds minus the non-refundable deposit are given for cancellations made before the start of the camp. There are no refunds after the first class and once supplies are delivered.
