Virtual Girl Scouts / Cadette Entrepreneur Badge WorkshopChallenge Island® partners with Girl Scout councils nationwide, and we also offer fully interactive, hands-on STEAM Girl Scout virtual workshops for girls of all ages - Daisy through Ambassador! This workshop is taught by a certified Challenge Island Owner who was a GS Troop Leader and Volunteer.

Girls be warned: These are not sit-watch-a-video and do the activity on your own types of classes! These classes are fully interactive with the teacher and the other kids on the call and completely hands-on, just as our in-person classes are. So come join us on our interactive online classes and connect with your troop members and new Girl Scout friends. We have put together a special workshop just for you!

Cadette Entrepreneur Badge Workshop

Virtually, in small groups, girls will use the Engineering Design Process to create, design, and build an African Safari Park tourist business; creating a business plan, Logo & Tagline, developing expenses & revenue, and identifying who are their customers. They will then develop and give a presentation pitch to an “Investor Board” and ask for seed money to “fund” their business to get it started. Our own personal "Shark Tank" experience! Girls are encouraged to wear their sash/vest.

Once registered, we will send you a Materials List which the Girl Scout can have a scavenger hunt with around the house. Many to all of the items are things you have in the house. You can gather an item OR substitute something else OR you can omit gathering an item until the workshop starts and see what it is needed for.

Cost includes: A 2-hour workshop with design build challenges, materials lists scavenger hunt, additional business building printouts, AND a Certificate of Completion, a GS badge, and an exclusive Challenge Island patch mailed directly to the Girl Scout.

The virtual link is per family not per girl. If you have more than one Girl Scout in a level, you register once.
OTHER OPTIONS: IF these dates/times don't work your schedule(s) - - CHECK OUT OUR SOCIAL BUBBLES!! YOU choose the Date(s)/Times, location, program/badges to earn, AND who get to attend (neighborhood friends, family, GS troop, Girl Scouts in the neighborhood, co-workers kids). You're free to choose it all! Social Bubbles are in-person with a Challenge Island Instructor who will follow all Covid safety protocols set forth by the CDC, State, and Challenge Island.
