Challenge Island is an enrichment opportunity for kids to grow their skills and knowledge in critical thinking, creativity and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) through hands-on activities!  In our STEAM Tank Entrepreneurs program, we’ll take on the world of entrepreneurship, and focus on a different type of business each week, ranging from candy stores to pet shops to holiday stores and more.  Each week, we’ll learn about different entrepreneurs and their path to success, and we’ll tackle STEAM challenges related to each week’s business.  Each student will receive a material kit delivered to their house (included in the session fee), which will give them the supplies they need to build the challenges in each session.  For this special middle-school edition, we’ll add in some additional challenges such as a stock market simulation and also laying out the plan (strategy, marketing, revenue & expenses, etc.) for a business they would like to start up someday!

Classes start on Thursday, February 4th, and end on March 11th (6 weeks total).
