In this Challenge Island course, we’ll visit Disaster Island USA, where we will take you on a thrilling adventure through some of the most famous American disasters in history! You and your tribemates will work together to overcome epic STEAM challenges using only the materials in your treasure chest and the power of your imagination. Here's the locations and topics we plan to visit each week:

·        Week 1: Tribal Spirit Rally at the Boston Molasses Disaster

·        Week 2: San Francisco Earthquake

·        Week 3: Hurricane (Katrina) Harbor

Challenge Island is an award-winning STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) enrichment program where kids solve fun, hands-on “challenges” which teach them about STEAM fundamentals and crosscurricular topics, plus important success skills like creativity, critical thinking, problem solving and much more.  Students work together in small "STEAM Teams" to solve each week's challenges, giving them an opportunity to grow their teamwork and social skills as well.  We look forward to seeing you on Challenge Island!
