Why Challenge Island?
Challenge Island is a cross-educational STEAM-based enrichment program for kids. All programs are unplugged with no digital technology. Children are taken on unique "island" adventures where they work in collaborative groups to take on high-level thinking challenges on real world issues using only the materials in their treasure chest and their creativity. Students have opportunity to build & strengthen their skills in all five aspects of STEAM – Science, Technology (invention & innovation), Engineering, Arts (language & creative), and Math - to successfully complete challenges as a team; while also strengthening their life skills in communication, collaboration, critical and creative thinking, flexibility, sociability, initiative, leadership, grit, and perseverance through difficulty. Challenge Island is dedicated to ensuring a brighter future for our kids and our communities by helping you prepare your child to succeed in the 21st Century and beyond!

Challenge Island - World Tour Island - Trip 1
Pack your suitcases for Challenge Island’s® World Tour! We will learn about countries, cultures, and the geography of our world. You and a STEAM Team of friends will engineer your way around the globe - from Paris' Eiffel Tower to Sydney's Harbor Bridge and Rio De Janeiro's Maracanã Stadium. We'll travel by way of Hot Air Balloon where you’ll design a Kenyan African safari and even stir up some antics with your own Antarctic Penguins. An unforgettable journey across oceans and continents! This globe-trotting island will be an exciting CI adventure!
This is trip 1 of a two trip (part) session. Each session (trip) stands alone, and students can sign up for one or both. Trip 2 will take place in Oct-Dec 2024 with different countries and different STEAM lessons.
