Challenge Island® partners with Girl Scout councils nationwide, and we offer fully interactive, hands-on STEAM Girl Scout workshops for girls of all ages - Daisy through Ambassador! This workshop is taught by a certified Challenge Island Owner who is also a Lifetime Girl Scout and a former Girl Scout Council Director. So come join us for this awesome workshop and connect with your troop members and new Girl Scout friends. We have put together a special workshop just for you!

Junior Business Jumpstart Badge Workshop

In this workshop, we will learn about the about the engineering behind roller coasters and elements to coasters that set them apart from each other. Girls will be pitching a whole theme park idea to the “city board” (adults present) to make better use of a vacant parking lot. They will design and create their main attraction   - a roller coaster.  And as engineers do, girls will share their ideas to get feedback and make improvementsto their main attraction. Then the girls will pitch their business to the group. ....And the crowd goes wild!

Girls are encouraged to wear their sash/vest.

COST INCLUDES: The STEAM challenges, all needed supplies & materials, Certificate of Completion, exclusive Challenge Island patch, ... AND tons of fun!

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Is one (1) week prior to the event date OR when the workshop fills to capacity.
