Once upon a time there was a bestselling camp that turned favorite children’s books into fantastical slimy adventures.  Our STEAM Teams will mix up new slime classics like Alice’s Unbirthday Cake Slime, Charlie’s Everlasting Gobstopper Slime, Percy’s Blue Cookie Slime, Narnia’s Turkish Delight Slime and STEAMwarts Butter Beer Slime. Every child receives a copy of Surprise at Blowcart Beach: A Challenge Island STEAM Adventure, which is filled with slimy science and treasures.

Stay for lunch! Bring your snack lunch and chill out with your new friends, then celebrate with a pizza party lunch on Friday!

The afternoon brings us to Xtreme STEAM® Sports Edition Camp - an indoor camp with outdoor spirit, our Xtreme STEAM Sports adventure scores big with every All Star Kid! You and your STEAM Team will have a ball learning the science behind the world’s most popular sports while engineering your way through a stadium full of sporting events: From football to NASCAR; from baseball to bobsledding from tennis to basketball to the Olympic Games. A winner every time, this sporty camp is a Challenge Island fan favorite!

Both the morning and afternoon sessions will spend time working on Martial Arts & Life Skills. Campers will build confidence through martial arts, self-defense, and bully-proofing strategies. They’ll learn to handle tricky situations, stay safe, and practice basic first aid—all in a fun, supportive environment!

Challenge Island Omaha Northwest Refund and Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change and have established the following refund and cancellation policy to accommodate our participants:

• Full Refund with 3 Weeks' Notice: Participants who cancel their registration at least 21 days before the program's start date are eligible for a full refund.
• Refund with $50 Materials Deposit Deduction: Cancellations made between 11 and 20 days before the program's start date will receive a refund minus the $50 materials deposit fee.
• No Refund within 10 days of Program Start: Cancellations made less than 10 days before the program's start date are not eligible for a refund. In the event there is a waiting list student available to attend you will receive a refund minus the $50 materials deposit fee
• Program Cancellations by Challenge Island: In the event that Challenge Island Omaha Northwest cancels a program due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances, participants will receive a full refund.
• Weather-Related Cancellations: If a program is canceled due to inclement weather or other unforeseen events leading to facility closures, the participants will be notified as to the reschedule date. If you cannot make the rescheduled event, a transfer/credit for an upcoming program will be provided.
• To request a cancellation or transfer, please contact us directly via text or email. Refunds will be processed based on the date the cancellation request is received.
