Come celebrate the 4th of July with Road Trip USA STEAM adventure!
Rev up your R.V.s for a cross-country STEAM adventure! Our STEAM Teams will play and engineer their way from sea to shining sea; from Cape Canaveral in Florida to the Statue of Liberty in New York. This imagination-fueled, engineering-filled excursion promises to have kiddos smiling from coast to coast!
Children will learn about Cape Canaveral and that it’s home to the Kennedy Space Center, from where most rockets are launched into space. They will then learn about the forces involved in rocket launching. Then, they will create their solar system and design and make their own straw rockets!
Next, they will learn about the Statue of Liberty and that it’s located on Liberty Island in New York Harbor. They will then make a Statue of Liberty costume, and learn how to write their birthdays in Roman numerals, just like how the date is written on the Statue of Liberty’s tablet!
