Get ready to engineer an unforgettable adventure with Challenge Island! In this triple badge workshop, Juniors will dive into the world of mechanical engineering as they build and test their own balloon car, crane, and paddle boat—earning all three Mechanical Engineering badges in one action-packed session. With imagination as their blueprint and teamwork as their toolbox, girls will explore forces, motion, and simple machines while bringing their STEAM-powered creations to life. It’s badge-earning the Challenge Island way—hands-on, screen-free, and wildly fun!
**I no longer provide the Girl Scout Badges at the end of the workshop. They are available for you to purchase online at girlscoutshop.com or at the council store.
We absolutely love hosting Girl Scout Workshops, and we cant wait for your girls to dive into the fun! At Challenge Island, we create engaging and imaginative experiences that spark creativity and foster teamwork among our young adventurers. However, to ensure everyone has the best time possible, we do need to meet the required volunteer-to-girl ratio for each level and have a minimum of 5 girls signed up for the class.
If this workshop sounds like a blast but the date doesn't fit into your troop's schedule, don't worry! We're here to help you make it work. Just reach out to us, and we can chat about setting up a private workshop for your troop or even arrange another public option in the future.
At Challenge Island, we are committed to empowering young learners and making STEAM education a delightful adventure. Let's embark on this journey together, because every scout deserves a chance to explore and discover!
