You and your STEAM Team will have a ball learning the science behind the world’s most popular sports while engineering your way through a stadium full of sporting events: From football to NASCAR; from baseball to bobsledding from tennis to basketball to the Olympic Games. A winner every time, this sporty camp is a Challenge Island fan favorite!
After a day of STEM adventures, campers will finish strong with an exciting Personal Armor - Sports! Camp.The Personal Armor – Sports! Edition is a high-energy, confidence-building experience designed to complement our Xtreme STEAM Sports camp. In this dynamic session, young athletes learn how to strengthen their “personal armor” through sports-based awareness, body control, teamwork, and emotional resilience. Kids practice assertive communication, safe movement skills, and positive sportsmanship while participating in fast-paced activities and challenges that mirror real athletic play. Blending self-defense fundamentals with sports performance concepts, this program empowers children to stay confident, focused, and safe—on the field, on the court, and in everyday life.
All campers will need to bring a sack lunch, water bottle, and some snacks. All campers should wear comfy clothes that can get messy.
Challenge Island Omaha Northwest Refund and Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change and have established the following refund and cancellation policy to accommodate our participants:
Full Refund with 3 Weeks' Notice: Participants who cancel their registration at least 21 days before the program's start date are eligible for a full refund.
Refund with $50 Materials Deposit Deduction: Cancellations made between 11 and 20 days before the program's start date will receive a refund minus the $50 materials deposit fee.
No Refund within 10 days of Program Start: Cancellations made less than 10 days before the program's start date are not eligible for a refund. In the event there is a waiting list student available to attend you will receive a refund minus the $50 materials deposit fee
Program Cancellations by Challenge Island: In the event that Challenge Island Omaha Northwest cancels a program due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances, participants will receive a full refund.
Weather-Related Cancellations: If a program is canceled due to inclement weather or other unforeseen events leading to facility closures, the participants will be notified as to the reschedule date. If you cannot make the rescheduled event, a transfer/credit for an upcoming program will be provided.
To request a cancellation or transfer, please contact us directly via text or email. Refunds will be processed based on the date the cancellation request is received.
