It’s Kids Night Out! (AKA Parent’s Date Night!)
Leprechaun Leap ☘️
Those sneaky leprechauns are always tryin' to swipe our pot o' gold! So we will be outwitting them by building a leprechaun trap to catch them at their own game and save our witts! Come with your ideas ...and a small box of some kind (we will have extras just in case). Teams will innovate, originate, collaborate, plan it, and build the perfect leprechaun trap. The Design Center of supplies will be open for sane ...and bizarre ...creative builds!
In our unplugged programs, kids experience all aspects of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) AND have opportunity to develop their Life Skills in Communication, Collaboration, Critical & Creative Thinking, Flexibility, Sociability, Initiative, Leadership, and Perseverance Through Difficulty. At Challenge Island, we are dedicated to ensuring a brighter future for our kids and our communities by helping you prepare your child to succeed in the 21st century.
Event includes: 3 hours of STEAM programs, take-aways, pizza dinner, and time in The Curiosity Place's hands-on exhibits. (You can't get a babysitter, dinner, constructive fun activities off the screens for 3 hours for this price!)
Event open to kids K-5th grade.
Kids work in STEAM Teams with kids of same/similar grade.

Location: The Curiosity Place (powered by the Great Lakes Children's Museum) located in the Grand Traverse Mall.
Registration Deadline: 12 Noon on event date OR when the event fills.
Pre-Registration is Required because there is limited capacity.
PLEASE NOTE: If the event fills to capacity before the registration deadline, registration will close. If the waitlist option is available, we highly suggest adding your child to the list, if someone cancels, a spot opens up or if the list is small we may be able to add waitlisted kids. We would let you know the morning of the event date.
Fee: $25 / 1st child;
Siblings Fee: $15 per additional child.
1) Register your first child and make payment, 2) Create a profile for each additional child, and 3) Email Renee at rallen@challenge-island.com with names of additional siblings, and which event you want them added to. She will register each at the discount price and let you know when your balance is ready for payment. Participants must be paid in full before attending the event.
