In our unplugged programs, kids experience all aspects of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) AND have opportunity to develop their Life Skills in Communication, Collaboration, Critical & Creative Thinking, Flexibility, Sociability, Initiative, Leadership, and Perseverance Through Difficulty.  At Challenge Island, we are dedicated to ensuring a brighter future for our kids and our communities by helping you prepare your child to succeed in the 21st century. 

* This event is open for families to participate together.  This is not a drop off event. *

Event open to families of any kind ~ parents/kids, grandparents/grandkids, nanny/kids ....whatever family is to you.   

Date: January 10, 2025

Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm 

Your family can drop in anytime during the event, but we will be closing up at 12 noon to clear the event room for other needs. 

Location: The Curiosity Place (powered by the Great Lakes Children's Museum) located in the Grand Traverse Mall. 

Fee: FREE EVENT with paid admission to The Curiosity Place. 

Pre-Registration is not Required but there is limited capacity in the event room. See below on how to save a spot for you family ahead of time in case it is a busy morning at the museum. 

PLEASE NOTE:

~ If the event fills to capacity before the event date, registration will close and drop-ins will not be an option. 

~ If the event fills to capacity, the waitlist option is available, we highly suggest adding your family to the list and showing up on Saturday, come let Renee know you are there, if there are no shows, we'll bring you on in. 

~ Registration is not required.  However, if it is a busy morning at the museum and you want to save a spot for your family, register here ahead of time we will save a spot for your family.  See below on how to save a spot.
