Winter Holiday STEAM Kids Night Out: Penguin Winter Wonderland! @ Clarkston Community Ed

For this penguin-themed evening of fun engineering challenges, we’ll be working in small teams to design and race penguin sleds, create and play a Rube-Goldberg-inspired penguin popping game, and mix up a batch of our new Penguin Iceberg Slime!  This workshop is a fun and educational night out for kids and their friends, while also being a well-deserved break for parents – we hope you can join us!

Challenge Island is an award-winning STEAM enrichment program where smart and curious kids work together to solve fun, hands-on “challenges” which teach them about STEAM fundamentals and crosscurricular topics, plus important success skills like creativity, critical thinking, problem solving and much more.  Each of our enrichment programs focus on a positive atmosphere packed with activities and learning, with the goal of encouraging children to be more confident and excited about their skills in STEAM and working together.
