Challenge Island offers exciting Journey, badge, and patch programs for Girl Scouts of all ages from Daisies to Ambassadors.
· - Our whimsical, creativity-based STEM/STEAM curriculum inspires girls to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and math.
· - The Scientific Method is used by girls throughout each challenge as our cross-curricular island themes extend their learning across multiple disciplines.
· - Both left & right sides of the brain are utilized as innovative, creative thinking is encouraged and celebrated.
· - Challenges emphasize valuable skills such as collaboration, communication, critical & creative thinking, flexibility, leadership, initiative, social skills & grit.
· - Prepares the fun, lively G.I.R.L. of today for the ever-changing global marketplace of the future.

In the Multi-level C/S/A Think Like an Engineer Journey Workshop, girls will use the Engineering Design Process to fulfill all the GSUSA set multi-level requirements. Girls will complete the entire Journey except for the Take Action Project which must come from the girls' vision and be implemented in their community.
Fee:
Girls: $20 per girl includes all materials, take-aways, and exclusive Challenge Island patch received at the event.
Adults: $0 as part of girl/adult ratio for a troop or individual chaperone for a Juliette girl. Due to possible space restrictions, troops may only be allowed enough adults to cover their girl/adult ratio. This will be determined after enrollment is closed.
