World Tour Island - Clarkston (register for all 6 classes - 9/14, 9/21, 9/28, 10/19, 10/26, 11/9)

These classes are designed for students from K-5th grades, and are an enrichment opportunity for kids to grow their skills and knowledge in critical thinking, teamwork and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) fundamentals in each class!  In each of these sessions, kids will be going on Challenge Island’s “World Tour”, where they will engineer their way around the globe to learn about new places each week while solving STEAM challenges! ·       Week 1 (9/14):  World overview (continents, Around the World in 80 Days):  hot air balloons

·       Week 2 (9/21):  Paris, France:  tower challenge

·       Week 3 (9/28):  Antarctic Iceberg:  penguin slides

·       Week 4 (10/19):  Rio De Janeiro, Brazil:  build your own foosball game

·       Week 5 (10/26):  Sydney, Australia:  bridge building

·       Week 6 (11/9):  Agra, India (Taj Mahal):  monkey playground
