Time Machine Island - Brandon (register for all 6 classes - Mondays 10/14-11/18/19)

These classes are designed for students from K-5th grades, and are an enrichment opportunity for kids to grow their skills and knowledge in critical thinking, creativity and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) through hands-on team-based activities!  In each of these sessions, kids will be going back in time to Challenge Island’s “Time Machine Island”, where they will solve STEAM challenges as they whiz their way to Ancient Egypt, the California Gold Rush, a 1970s pinball arcade, and many other exciting eras.  We look forward to seeing you on Time Machine Island!

·       Week 1:  Island overview (time machine, science fiction):  slime

·       Week 2:  Roller Coaster Beach (1884):  roller coasters

·       Week 3:  Mayflower Harbor (1620):  wind-powered carts

·       Week 4:  Pyramid Peak (2500 BC):  mummies, pyramids

·       Week 5:  Pinball Wizard Way (1974):  pinball machines

·       Week 6:  Gold Rush Mountain (1849):  mine trains
