Challenge Island – Cool Careers Island Part 1

What do you want to be when you grow up? Challenge Island's® Cool Careers Island© Part 1 - will give you a taste of some of the world's most exciting jobs from veterinarian to marine biologist to City Planner.  Are you curious about the life of a professional basketball player or Dentist? Start engineering your future today with these STEAMtastic Challenge Island adventures!    

Kids are grouped in teams (island tribes) by grade with others of their same grade or one grade above/below.    

Cool Careers Island Part 1 has five (5) sessions in February & March.  Cool Careers Island Part 2 has 6 sessions and runs April & May with six new sessions.  Registration is also open for Part 2.  If you can't participate in Part 2 - no worries!  Each part stands alone with new topics and challenges.  We're glad you're here!    

In our unplugged programs, kids receive all 5 aspects of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) AND have opportunities to develop their soft skills (life skills) in Communication, Collaboration, Critical & Creative Thinking, Flexibility, Sociability, Initiative, Leadership, and Perseverance Through Difficulty.  At Challenge Island, we are dedicated to ensuring a brighter future for our kids and our communities by helping you prepare your child to succeed in the 21st century.
