Erica is the owner of the Challenge Island™ program on Oahu. She is a beloved elementary school teacher with years of experience in both public and private schools. She started Challenge Island in hopes to bring Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Math (S.T.E.A.M ) to more of Hawaii's keiki.
Erica is a veteran of the United States Coast Guard, where she was an active duty Aviation Maintenance Technician for 6 years. She has a Bachelors of Science in Professional Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, a Bachelors of Art in Painting and Sculpture from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, as well as a Masters of Education from Hawaii Pacific University.
Erica happily resides in Wahiawa with her family.
